Soccer Passing Drills Train By YOURSELF while others slack off
I recently did a tutorial on soccer passing drills and in that tutorial they're a bunch of drills but they were all soccer passing drills that you did with partners and some of them were in twos some of f them were in threes but i had a lot of people ask me how do i do soccer passing drills or how do i improved my passing skills if i don't have anyone to practice with so today i'm going to show you exactly how you can improve your passing but also your first touch also your speed a play.
Which are very important pieces of your game that i think are overlooked way too often ok today you're gonna learn how to improve all those areas so stay all the way to the end of this tutorial because although i'm showing you soccer passing drills there are other things i want you to focus on so you can actually apply the practice that you're putting in onto the field to make you a better player let's get into it so before we get into the actual soccer passing drills that i want you to.
Practice to improve your passing skills i want to talk about a couple of very important things so first of all is quality of your passes and what i mean by that is.It's easier to see when you're passing with a teammate but by yourself even if i want to pick a spot so maybe i pick a line on the wall and i try to hit that line or like a little dent in the wall is spot on the wall and i tried to hit every time a lot of us were too comfortable with making passes that are ok.
But they're not good enough the higher level you get at the more important and more precise your passes need to be we need to put pace on your passes add pace to it you cant be soft like that if it's weak its gonna get cut outs gonna get intercepted you need pace on your passes we also need accuracy on your pass is very important so for example if i was like passing to my teammate instead of just passing it to him i want to pass to either to his right foot left foot i.
Want to pass it into this space here in front of him to encourage him to go that way or i want to pass it to this space behind him because the defenders on that side ok so think about having a little more quality and precision with your passing don't just pass it over there hit it at the wall ok think about the exact spot on the wall that you want to hit it and put it there ok the other thing that i want talk about when you're passing with.
Yourself is your first touch ok yes we're focusing on soccer passing drills but it's a great opportunity to focus on improving your first touch so when i receive the ball i'm not just.Again i'm not just making these touches in really thinking about it, where i want the ball to go, think about the game that he quickly became play again quickly ok so i might really overemphasize mytouch at my feet get out of my feet and i can't play nice pass out of my feet play nice pass if i'm.
Going into space out of my feet okay but look at my body positioning i'm not just like up here and letting the ball hit my foot i get over the ball i'm pushing it there with my touch but also my body is over the ball and i'm really making sure it goes exactly where i want it to go okay so when you think about those two things then finally i want to think about your speed of play ok there's no one around here there are no defenders but you need to imagine that.
There are ok if we're just doing simple drillsl it's received pass receive pass the passes are sharp and accurate it's not like.It's to casual play like you're in the heat of the game yes everything you do is sharp and quick pass received pass receive fast ok so quick on your feet ok we're going to go into a couple of soccer passing drills here and as you can see i'm passing against the wall by myself no one else is here ok but the wall is one of.
The best ways to improve skills this guy is going to pass back to you every time it is your best friend he's gonna give you millions of passes in your lifetime if you use it properly all right let's get into these drill there are so many of you out there and maybe i'm not talking specifically but if i am you need to be very honest with yourself you guys are watching these tutorials but you're not actually applying what we're talking about you're not actually putting into practice and you're sending me messages or you are.
Complaining to your friends and your family you're saying i'm put in all this work or i'm following this advice but i'm not getting any better well the truth is there are millions of other kids or other players out there in the world who are using this advice and they are putting it into practice and they are getting better so if you're not getting better well maybe you're not actually doing what you should be doing ok make sure that you're actually working to improve your passing you want to improve your first.
Touch make sure that you actually practice this thing ok you get your ball leave your house jog to the park with your ball please don't get hit by a car look both ways when you cross the street but that's what i used to do i would get my ball go for a run dribble the whole way to field or to the wall wherever you go and then you get here you spend even if you spent 10 minutes it would make massive difference in improving your skills your first touch speed of play your confidence on the ball.
If you wanna stay longer you can practice other things too as well you're dribbling shooting all this other stuff on my channel these other soccer drills i'm giving you guys ok but if you're really focused on becoming a better passer and a playmaker someone who doesn't lose possession of the ball having a better first touch and better speed of play rhythm of play, playing with more confidence on the ball get out there and do these soccer passing drills 10 minutes a day spend one minute on each.

I really hope you enjoy the tutorial.For my warm up i set up a straight line of cones with the final cone 1015 yards away.I like to start with a simple jog before i pick up the pace of my warm up.I also do quick feet and heels up at the start to help get my legs loose.Once you reach the end of the cone line make sure you accelerate until you reach the final cone.Another good way to warm up is to circle each cone individually before accelerating to the final cone.I also do what like to.
Call up two back one as you can see.The goal of the warm up is to make sure you're loose before you start the training session.For the main drill all you'll need is four cones and a ball.If you don't have cones, then you can use shoes, bags, or anything else you have to make a 2x2 square.As you go through each step, make sure you're focusing on staying inside of the square.Complete each move for at least one minute before moving on.Make sure you go as fast as you can, but remember to stay under control.Start off with basic.
Taptaps.Move the ball quickly between your feet using the inside of each foot.Rapidly touch the top of the ball with the bottom of your foot near your toes.Make sure you're moving your arms like you're running.This will develop good running form and athletic habits.Start with basic taptaps, then push the ball laterally across your body with the inside of your foot.Your next touch should push the ball across the square.Make sure you're moving your feet and turning quickly.Start this the same as drill three, but this time, touch the ball with the outside of your.
Foot laterally.Then, your next touch can push the ball across the square.Touch the ball as quickly as you can with the inside and the outside of your right foot.Focus on trying to move the ball on a line left to right so you're not moving forward.As you touch the ball to the outside, make sure your foot is pointing down and your knee is bent.This will help give you more control over the ball.This is similar to the last two drills.Only this time you're taking two touches with the outside of your foot followed.
By two touches with the inside of your foot.This is really going to help improve your touch in a tight area.For this drill try to get a good rhythm moving the ball left to right.Start with the inside of one foot followed by the outside of the other foot.Then, repeat the opposite way.For this drill you're going to use the bottom of your foot to role the ball across your body and then stop the ball with the inside of your opposite foot.Then, repeat on the.
Other side.Touch the ball across the square, next, fake like you're going to kick the ball, but instead of kicking use the inside of your foot to push the ball behind you.Make sure you're pushing the ball in a straight line behind you, and not at an angle.Notice my foot is turned sideways so that when i touch the ball it's moving in a straight line behind me.This will help you protect the ball in a game situation because your body is blocking the ball from the defender.After you've touched the ball with your foot turn your body to.
